Why Choose Natural & Organic?

Not all products are created equal. Most companies use synthetic compounds, fillers, additives, and extracts from conventionally grown plants in their products. And these can do more harm than good. But choosing organic isn’t just about the fruits and veggies you buy at the supermarket. If you really want to live a natural and organic lifestyle you need to think about everything you buy including skincare and vitamins.
That’s why have selected only the best organic products. Organic products are better for both your health and the environment. And while organic products have traditionally cost a tad more than conventional, the benefits when compared to conventional products far outweigh the extra cost:
1) better nutrient content and absorption
2) richer in antioxidants
3) no toxic pesticide residue
5) all natural
Better quality ingredients make for better products. Take vitamin C for instance. Most vitamin C found in food products, vitamins, and skincare products is not even REAL vitamin C! It’s a synthetic derivative of vitamin C called “ascorbic acid”, which is by definition, not vitamin C! It’s amazing producers are able to call it vitamin C in the first place, so just remember that you are NOT getting real vitamin C when you buy products that list their vitamin C as “ascorbic acid” since it’s missing bioflavinoids and other key compounds.
Then there’s the risk of consuming pesticides. While most growers have started to use less pesticides, the FDA does not regulate or ban them, and so you will find traces of pesticides not only in fruits and vegetables, but also in skincare products, vitamins, and other products. Pesticides have been proven to cause cancer and other illnesses. In fact, a National Institute of Health (NIH) study concluded that pesticides can even hinder neurological development in children. On the other hand, products derived from organic plants, vegetables, and fruit are grown without pesticides and so are free from pesticide residue.
Organic farming practices are also more holistic and eco-friendly since they take into consideration the long term health of soil and greater environment e.g. no pesticide run off into local water supplies. Buying organic therefore means you are contributing to sustainable food cultivation and responsible farming. At the end of the day you get a better quality product and also support environmentally friendly practices so what’s not to like?
